Description
In lieu of our teen centers being temporarily closed due to COVID restrictions, Youth Venture is hosting after-school day camps starting the week of August 31st. Each center (Broadway, South, Lakeside, and Santee) will host one stable group of up to eight (8) boys and another stable group of up to eight (8) girls per day, once a week. Each session will begin with a short Bible study followed by a pre-determined outdoor recreation activity.
Registration
- Students should contact a Site Director and turn in a signed permission slip in order to save a spot for the coming week.
- As much as possible, students will meet in stable groups for each session. That is, the same group of kids meeting each week with the same set of staff members.

Health and Safety Measures
- Temperature checks and health screenings upon arrival for participants and staff.
- The use of cloth face coverings when feasible and most essential in times when physical distancing is difficult to maintain.
- Limiting the sharing of any equipment or supplies.
Transportation
If at all possible, students will need to meet YV staff at the designated meeting location for the Bible study and/or recreation activity. In exceptional cases, YV staff may provide alternative transport for students.
